Probably my favorite episode so far, maybe along with 33 - which was the polar opposite in that nothing like it showed the utter desperation of the human race. In contrast, here, our folks finally, for once, dealt a blow to the Cylons. Damn, they needed this win! We all did! The celebration scene in the hangar deck is always so emotional for me. And Adama taking off his glasses, and just for a few seconds, letting massive relief and profound joy flow thru him. A catharsis for him and for us.

2022-03-11 02:48:56 +0000 UTCYou're so mean to Madam President! 😢 She was so happy hugging Starbuck (after Starbuck hugged her first). I just love Mary McDonnell. She's fantastic in everything she does. Apparently, the show creators for BSG wanted her for this role but were scared to ask her, worried she'd think it was too silly. And she says she was completely surprised to be asked to do a role like this, as I don't think she's ever done any science fiction anything before BSG. I can't imagine the show without her.
