That’s such a bummer!! It’s helps to separate your own beliefs from the fiction you watch- there are tons of people who don’t believe in real life but love the ending! Personally I believe in life after death and maybe it heightens the emotion for me, but it a shame when someone can’t see its visual beauty cause it’s not their personal belief:/

2022-03-06 15:45:23 +0000 UTCI'm so annoyed... my husband and I just finished his first time watching the series like 10 minutes ago and he liked the series all the way until the very end because he is pissed about the ending with the flash sideways. Literally has no love for the way it ended because he has zero belief in life after death... The guy doesn't make one comment about a ridiculous smoke monster or a magic island the entire time but has a hard time with them creating a nice little afterlife limbo. Uhhhh. Lol
