I tried to get your point here but I couldn't. remember, "to you" the biggest part was the stealing of the medal. Why can't it be the medal and the car that ignited Daniel to storm off. just because we did not see a flash back of the medal doesn't mean that didn't play a part in Daniel storming off.

But like, this was the first time I actively stopped and questioned the writing/directing, when Daniel finds the trashed dojo. To me, the biggest part of that is the stealing of the medal of honor, and the show does give it a heavy moment, but then uses the car as the big "catalyst," even though it only has writing on the one door. I get they really wanted to use the flashback to the movie when he gets the car, but they could have at least wrecked the car somewhat to have a bigger emotional impact. If not, then should have switched the order so the car was first and then the medal of honor is when Daniel storms off.
