Ralph, I have to admit I am a little bit sad that you know the name “Grogu” and use it. This is something that took viewers until the fifth episode of season two to learn. Carl Weather’s character’s name is Greef Karga. The metal “currency” is called Beskar and “The Armorer” melted this down to make Mando’s new armor. As you saw, it is bulletproof. The older man with the German accent that wanted and put the bounty on “the Child” is Werner Herzog. He’s a very famous director best known for his documentaries. The “ET fingers” almost touching that Shamonda referenced from the end of the first episode is actually inspired by both ET and the Michaelanbelo painting “The Creation of Adam” in the Sistine Chapel. The story REALLY gets going with this episode. This is the way! 😎
