I loved this episode. The reveal about Mike's dad and his conversations with Hurley are the highlights for me. Everyone seems to get upset at Kate trying to comfort Roger but she was a parent to Aaron so she sympathizes with him. Should she have avoided him, yes, but I understood why she did it.

Jack, looking for his purpose; Kate, looking for Claire; Sayid, depressed/life has no meaning; Juliet, convinced from the moment O6 showed up her happy Dharma life is kaput; Sawyer, convinced if he juggles fast enough and hustles hard enough, he can keep his happy Dharma life from going kaput; Sun & Jin, looking for each other; Hurley, coming to terms with his powers; Ben, for once in his life, backfooted and confused, out of plans; Locke, came back once, Island let him walk, came back a second time, Island resurrected him: more confident than ever before. How is this stew of attitudes and motivations going to mix up and lead to what's next? Faraday? He's the variable. We don't know where his headspace is. What will he add to the mix? I'm so happy y'all liked this Miles/Hurley episode. It's under-rated bc I suppose not a whole lot happens, but still so good. Your surprise at the Dr. Chang is Miles' Dad reveal! Watching in real time, that's one a lot of people had figured out . . . had so much more time to speculate on every last thing and the season started with him and the baby (and then Faraday in the Orchid . . .hmmmmmm)
