Drawing tablet no longer working.

For the past two days my tablet has been not connecting to my computer properly and usually required a restart to work. Now it's not connecting at all.
So far we've managed to narrow it down to either it's a problem the graphics card, or the tablet itself. The tablet is getting power and I can turn it on and off but it's just not connecting onto my computer as a decivce and enters sleep mode.
It goes without saying both current options- getting a new tablet or a new graphics card- are expensive and time consuming soltuions. I don't know when I will be drawing again but it's pretty clear it's not going to be any time soon and I will no doubt be missing a lot of deadlines because of it.

Dang! When it rains it pours eh? I hope you can at least take the hiatus as an opportunity to rest up
