4K vs 8K question
Added 2022-09-13 08:33:38 +0000 UTCWould you guys actually want 8K versions of renders? I always thought 4K, which is 2160p (shortest edge) is enough, but what is your opinion on it?
It'd take much more time to render, but a lot of details would be visible. I don't even know if it's needed as I use non-standard aspect ratios (usually 3:2 instead of 16:9)

4K is really great because it doesn't take so much time to render as 8K. It grows exponentially unfortunately. Though you're right, maybe I'll try it out on some renders

2022-09-15 11:03:23 +0000 UTCI honestly think 4k is fine enough as is. Maybe do an 8k image to test the waters with it? Personally though, I am more than okay with 4k.

2022-09-13 22:09:24 +0000 UTCI think 4k as standard is good. I would only use 8k, if you want to make wallpaper-like images or if you want to focus more on details. Images like the Seraphine selfies or the KDA/Kaisa and Pool Ahri images would again do well as 8k.
