This is the shortest story ever told: Patreon support is inexistant. Seriously, don't even bother because they clearly don't...
If you are on an upper tier e.g. platinum and want to get access to the archive tier again, the fix seems to be to downgrade to the lowest tier, then upgrade to the next tier, then upgrade to your chosen Archive Tier and all should be well again. You will get access to everything again and not get charged.
I have tried Bentbox and potentially could make more revenue there, but it is cold and impersonal, so I don't really bother with it. OF is for models. Not sure what the other alternatives are, but I guess we are stuck here for a little while longer.
