2025-07-12 08:26:17 +0000 UTCYeah Hongchul is a pretty controversial entertainer not just in The Genius, but also in variety shows in general because of his perceived personality. I used to watch him a lot since Infinite Challenge days, but imo he makes for very good entertainment in survival shows. In fact I think he would probably have been better in shows like Bloody Game instead lol About why people don't like this season (I don't remember too many key events in this season, so this is based on what I watched with you): Personally I just feel like S2 isn't up there for me because the casting profile for this season is just so different from S1. S1 had a more balanced casting, while from what we've seen so far S2 has too many self-serving players (just look at how everyone betrayed the eliminated player this episode and there's almost no signs of remorse, RIP lmao)
