Archive Highlight; "Friends of the Shows"
Added 2025-03-31 18:01:05 +0000 UTCHello all - it’s the end of a hectic month, with the Telelibrary’s birthday and the beginning of sifting through 2000 calls of data, a surprise appearance in NYC, and preparations for Undersigned’s run at the Overlook Film Festival in New Orleans (next week! - we sold out to the pass-holders, but if you’re in town keep an eye out for Monday screenings of a few cool films).
As such, this month’’s highlight will be something a little different. No Proscenium has dropped their latest podcast episode, and I make an appearance in a double-header with Mikhael Tara Garver and Jenny Koons of Culture House Immersive. Sadly we didn’t get to all be in conversation at once, but I think the two interviews taken together are an interesting counterpoint in propositions of scale, longevity, and the expansion of value over time. Noah and I had a great chat and then remembered we were supposed to be recording and then had a second great chat on the record on generosity and exchanges. Those of you who have been with the Patreon for a long time will probably find the conversation pretty resonant (or more accurately, will discover that I only ever have 4 thoughts in my head, and 3 of them are already Patreon posts).
