This livery represents the Bud Moore Cougar as it was ran by Japanese racing legend Seiichi Suzuki in the 1969 Citrus 250. He was the first Japanese racing driver to race in a NASCAR sanctioned event, the Grand-Am series. Back home in Japan, he was a multiple season champion in the Japan Stock Car series (Japanese version of NASCAR).
In his first oval race in the states, Suzuki finished 4th overall, highest of all Cougars entered!
