The Italian sports car and touring car mecca, Alfa Romeo, was in the middle of a busy racing season in 1965 when this GTA entered the 1000km of the Nürburgring. Alfa Romeo had debuted the TZ2 that season, alongside a plethora of privateer TZ1's, and aimed to dominate touring car races with the little GTA. Something that they successfully pulled off.
Driven by Ernst Furtmayr and Herbert Schultze to a 19th place overall finish. The livery got a slight update with a new UI.
