The week was marred by tragedy with one fatality, inadequate track safety and ever increasing speeds - resulting in the event being shut down after a liberal party took over the Bahamas. Included in this set are the Cobra Comp. of Bob Grossman/Scuderia Bear, which won the 5L+ GT class, Ralph Trieschmann's privateer Porsche 906, which won the 2L GT class, and Anita Taylor/Ring Free Racing Team's GT350R, which won the 5L GT class.
