For the KS Cobra 427.
CSX2301 started life as one of five Shelby American works cars, destined for European events in 1964, after starting in the 1964 Sebring 12 Hours and winning a USRRC race with Ken Miles. After Shelby got enough out of the car, 2301 was sold to a wealthy British man, whom I cannot find the name of, but who ran a racing team called Radford Racing. 2301 was one of two Cobras bought for this team, and the pairing would start out in British sports car races, receiving fair results.
2301 however went a little further, participating in the WSC of 1965. Here it ran at Spa, Monza and the Nürburgring, with decent results at Monza. The car was entered for Le Mans but wasn't accepted, with the car then going on to race for another full year until its retirement in late 1966.
