Sometimes shows/movies try to pull the call-backs off and it feels like they overdo it, but I love how Cobra Kai seems to get just the right feel for it. Also love the dynamic they've set up for the Cobra Kai dojo today vs. the one in the Karate Kid...today being full of kids who are being made fun of (while of course being under the tutelage of Johnny - who, depending on what side of the coin you're on, was the main bully from Karate Kid 1)...vs. the Cobra Kai dojo from the Karate Kid - where it essentially was a breeding ground for the bullies. Glad to see another reaction, thank you!
