For the WSC 906.
Porsche 906-120 had quite a rough life after being sold to Peter Bellamy in 1969. A few months before, the car barely survived a fire in the engine compartment, which destroyed the original engine - receiving a heart transplant from the wrecked 906-149. Sadly, the car would see all manners of abuse in the hands of the new owner. In 1971, in hopes of making the car competitive in the new Grand Champion series, Bellamy had the engine upbored to a 2.2L. The rear of the car was cut open and the rear window was taken off entirely.
Peter Bellamy never managed to do well, despite securing a Tudor Watches sponsorship in 1972, rarely finishing a race in 906-120. By 1973 Bellamy had lost his wife to his mechanic (lol) and decided he had enough of racing. Or so we thought, recently having discovered photos of Bellamy racing 906-120 in Australia... In 1974!
