BOAC 500 1967 - Chaparral 2F #1

Crazy thing; I made all the 2F racing liveries.. Except the only one which won a race outright! Despite being dominant (both in real life and in the WSC mod) in terms of raw speed, the 2F suffered from reliability issues which often cut it's race short. However, in the final WSC season race of 1967, the Brands Hatch BOAC 500, the Chaparral scored an unexpected win, beating Lola and Ferrari.

FINALLY!!! I wondered for almost a year on you had missed the fact that Jim Hall's "Winged Wonder" 2F in WSC60 Legends lacked still of it's most important livery... the one of her only and WELL deserved victory, seen how fast it had always performed throughout 1967 and still for the damn auto transmission did not allowed her to take the place on the podium it deserved... and Brands Hatch was that last stand that got the 2F once for all onto the podium, sadly too late, for the 1968 WSC limitations and efforts to partecopate among sportcars, totally impossible for the as little as incredibly pioneristic Texan manufacture... and the rest is history only written in Can-Am with little success, but cemented in every racing car from 1970s on... thanks again for this livery, from a big fan of Endurance, historian of the WSC/WEC and SIM Racer!!! And of course, of your amazing works...
