For the WSC60's GT40 Mk1.
The Canadian Comstock Racing Team may be the most successful to come from up north, having their roots from the early 60's and mainly racing Ford racing cars throughout the decade. Active in both sports car racing and touring car racing with their two Mustang's, Comstock were also among the earliest adopters of Ford's new GT40 in 1965 (P/1000 and P/1037).
Comstock suffered a dramatic setback at the 1966 Sebring 12 Hours when Bob McLean had a horrific fatal crash in P/1000. Eppie Wietzes kept racing despite the heavy loss. This livery represents him racing GT40 P/1037 at the 1966 Can-Am race at Mosport. Here, he finished in 6th overall.
