For the WSC60's 906.
Longtime followers of my content (or those in the know of Swedish racing history in general) will know Richard Broström and his many Porsche's from the late 60s and early 70's. Together with Jo Bonnier and Ulf Norinder, the trio became Sweden's most famed sports car drivers of the era.
Richard's entry into motorsports came about after marrying Ulf Norinder's sister, igniting the friendship between him and Ulf/Jo. He started racing sports cars with this blue/yellow 906, painted with the same buckets used by Norinder for his T70 (also included in the WSC60s pack).
For two years, Richard raced various Porsches with mixed results, becoming a team owner by 1970 with only a few more race entries afterwards (none of which netted him podiums). He was the de facto team leader for Bonnier's ill-fated 1972 Le Mans effort, his death deeply affecting Richard, after which it seems he retired from the sport.
Richard Broström passed away in Canada sometime in the late 2000's.
