I don't know if you mentioned this or caught on to this, but the father of the girl (Richard Malkin) who came back to life was the same psychic whom Claire visited in her backstory telling her that she has to get on the plane. He claims he's a hoax in this episode, but he seemed pretty legit in Claires backstory.
