One thing I never thought of until your discussion is Kate yelling at Jack that she’s not good enough for him is because she does feel like she will never be good because of Wayne. It explains so much why she seems torn between Jack and Sawyer.

2020-08-30 22:27:52 +0000 UTCThis is a good Kate episode. I feel like up to this point we've never really had a solid grip on her, but this explains a lot. The part where she's explaining how she thinks her relationship with Wayne explains her interest in Sawyer is especially touching. On the other hand, Michael just hopping on the computer like he's in the 90's and casually entering an AOL chatroom was kind of weird. Obviously he's doing what he can to find his son, but you'd think he'd be a bit more sceptical.
