Interserie Imola 1972 - McLaren M8F AMG #19

There are few real photos of this car, a McLaren M8F equipped with a Mercedes AMG tuned 6.8L turbocharged engine. As far as I'm aware, this was an experiment for the AMG engineers, which only ran in one race at Imola in 1972. Some sources state the turbo was removed, others state it ran with the turbo. Either way, the car would retire due to engine trouble in heat 1, and failed to start heat 2 as a result.
