Added 2024-04-07 13:02:37 +0000 UTCThe 906 was a very common sight on the Nordschleife by the later 60s, with many chassis being built and being relatively affordable after the initial seasons passed.
Here's another one of many, owned by Swedish driver Sten Axelsson who teamed up with Racing Team Holland driver Ben Pon for the 1967 1000km. Impressively qualified for 10th place with a 9:04 laptime, the car failed to finish after a suspension issue cut their race short.
