For the mod: ATCC GrpE Volkswagen Beetle 1200

A national sensation amongst the legends of racing. Many anecdotes on this mythic racing car exists from those who raced in it and against it, but it could be best summed up by Dan Gurney's statement at Sebring in 1968: "If we were driving in Herbie, we'd easily win this year's race." (Citation needed)

All jokes aside, I had this livery laying around on my harddrive and decided to put it here. By all means not a perfect recreation, the rear especially being warped as all hell AO wise - though it's certainly not as bad as [REDACTED]. Aside from the not so seamless decals, the rims can't be properly fixed either :(

The Love Bug has had a huge influence on my childhood, and is likely the sole reason I became interested in historic racing. Many of the racing scenes in the first movie had some seriously amazing cars in them, most of them competitors of the SCCA. By that logic I felt like tagging this one under the SCCA Liveries category.
