NYC Playtest Alert: "Immodest Proposal"

Hello my adventurous friends,

I'm very excited to announce my first in-person playtest for a new work! 

Immodest Proposal (working title); a psychological thriller for an audience of one.

This is a piece I've been experimenting with for quite some time, and for the next stage of its development, I'd love to hear your thoughts. While many of the tools and design are familiar, this is me exploring a very different kind of experience, so insight and feedback from such an experienced, engaged, and game group of participants would be an incredible resource.

Over the next few months, I'll be offering some chances to playtest in person for folks in the New York and Philadelphia area.

First up - December in NYC! I've put together a quick poll to gauge interest and availability. If you're in the area and think you may be interested, take a look at the full description below, and let me know if there are dates/times you may be available.

And for everyone else - stay tuned! I've got plenty more cooking, and with you in my corner, I'm able to take more chances and conduct more experiments like these, remote and in person!

Immodest Proposal is a psychological thriller for an audience of one.

Depending on your choices, it will last between 20-40 minutes.

You will be asked to speak in answer to a number of prompts. You are not expected to play any role other than yourself. You and are invited to share as much as or little as you like, and may choose to withhold any information you would prefer not to disclose.

Topics of discussion will vary based on your input, and may include but are not limited to Money, Power, Sex, Pleasure, Violence, Blood, Wild Conjecture, and the Occult. You are invited to entertain or dismiss any topic of discussion that arises, or may request in advance that a topic be off limits.

You will be blindfolded for the bulk of the experience. For COVID safety, each participant will be provided their own blindfold, and additional materials will be sanitized between each performance.

All performers and attendants have been vaccinated. Proof of vaccination is required for attendance, as well as a face mask for entering the building. Once your performance has begun, you may remove or keep your mask, per your comfort.

You can end the experience at any time.
