I liked this. It was like 4 premieres in 1. Which I prefer to see all the characters vs focus on a smaller group here & there. I love me some focus episodes, but not for a premiere. So I was all about this one.

2020-01-20 16:45:37 +0000 UTCWelcome to Season 10! Okay...the episode may have seemed choppy to you with the repeats of the satellite falling. Only the one satellite fell, but they gave us what was going on with each of the sets of characters, prior to them all meeting up to put out the fire. Everyone is still basically shel-shocked after the pikes. Some of these things are based on the comics. Carol has taken some of Michonne's comic arc. In the comics, Michonne became a "pirate" and went out on the boats to fish. So this is why Carol has been away from the groups. I think that Carol and Zeke ended so awkwardly, that they don't know how to be around each other right now. Daryl has been away from Carol so much that he just wants her to be safe and to be close to him and the family. The New Mexico reference was a nice little easter egg to the Breaking Bad universe. If you remember in Season 2, Daryl had some of the blue crystal meth and that was also a nod to BB The beach scenes on the ocean were filmed at Jekyll Island on the Georgia Coast. This first half of the season is soooo very good. So far this is all I can think of, Love you both!!!
