As you said with the GTA V time period, it is essentially a 2010 game that came out in 2013/2015/2021. I wonder if for VI they'll cut down on jokes and gags that are specifically 2018 in nature. Like we'll still get Pißwasser beer but there won't be a character yelling "Gamblingmon Go to the Polls", essentially treat it as a period piece for the late 10's.
