A great episode that drew me into EXP. The design of the weapons for Aliens is very different from other movies including Alien, Alien3 and Resurrection. I applied the principles described in the episode to design the M42A Scope Rifle in 1994 for the Technical Manual, first published in 1995. Hopefully another edition will appear for the 40th anniversary of Aliens release - and maybe the Special Edition could enjoy a return to cinema screens - perhaps for 26 April 2026!
