EXTENDED | Firearms Expert Reacts to Killing Floor 2 | EXP

It's Friday, and it's time to shred some Zeds.

With Killing Floor 3 on the horizon, we decided to show Jonathan some of the weird, wonderful and wobbly guns of Killing Floor 2. We're talking Berettas, we're talking M16s, we're talking Ballistic Gloves and we're talking an RPG that heals you. Standard stuff, really.

Don't forget, as an Extended Episode patron you get an extra long episode with a bunch of extra content, a week earlier than the main feed, and it's ad-free. Nice!

Jonathan Ferguson, an expert in firearms history and the Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum in the UK, breaks down the Zed-shredding arsenal of Killing Floor 2, including a prototype Kalashnikov AK-12, a very wobbly Mkb.42(H) Carbine Rifle and a Reducto Ray that reveals one of Jonathan’s greatest fears.

That *would* be in-line with the overall wackiness of the rest of the game.

Great episode yet again, I never noticed the rattling of the weapons before. I might have a POTENTIAL reason as to why the devs did it though. In animation, there is a technique to exaggerate movement called 'squash and stretch'. I think they might've chosen to make the different pieces rattle and wobble to achieve the same effect as in the normal speed animations, you never would be able to tell. Please note that I am not a game designer nor an animator, so please take my idea with a grain of salt. Once again great work EXP and I can't wait for the next one!

The wobbly models are very strange, but the devs obviously put a lot of thought into the details of the weapons. Gotta admit I love the dual ballistic fist weapons, as wacky and impractical as they may be.
