EXP Update - June 16th 2025

Hello Patrons!

It's Adam here with your monthly update for June from the EXP team!

We've been incredibly busy over the last month and a bit, which is why it has been nearly 6 weeks since our last update. So with that in mind, let's roll through everything that you might have missed over the last 6 weeks, and look ahead to some of the exciting new things that you can look forward to across the next month!

But first, as always, thank youuuuu

Of course, none of this would be possible at all without your incredible support! EXP has been up and running for over 4 months now, and if you’d have told us we’d have surpassed 100k subs within that timeframe when we started, we’d probably have laughed in your face. Instead, the joke’s on us - we’re now well on the way to 150k subs so be sure you’ve got your requests in for the next ‘Big Milestone Episode’.

Thank you for supporting us, and thank you for sticking with us on this crazy ride! Anyway, let’s look at some of the exciting new prospects on the horizon for all you patrons.

Community Creations Episode #1

First off the bat is the imminent arrival of the first Community Creations episode. Chris is working hard on the episode as I type, and it’s already promising to be a big old chonky episode, clocking in at over an hour! We had an incredible first round of submissions, and, well, Jonathan had… many reactions.

He's a very versatile man

The episode itself has taken a little longer for us to make due to the fact that it’s quite unlike anything we’ve ever done before! We had a great time looking through all your submissions though, and Jonathan had a jolly old time too. The episode itself will be going live on our Patreon this month, and will be - like last month’s Valkyria Chronicles episode - an extended episode that will be made available to all on YouTube and Patreon, though unlike that one it’ll still be Patreon-exclusive for a week like regular episodes. This means that all your wonderful/cursed suggestions will be seen by everyone. Great!

June Production Meeting - 30th June

Mark Monday the 30th June in your calendars, as that’s the date for our next Production Meeting. We’ll be going live at 17:00BST/12:00ET/09:00PT, and as per usual you can expect the usual dose of absolute nonsense that really should have been an email instead. 

We’ll be running down everything happening on EXP in July, and let me tell you now, there is a lot planned!

For anyone in the Extended Episode or VIP tiers, the monthly Production Meeting is an exclusive livestream, hosted on YouTube where the EXP team will spend some time talking through our plans for the next month or so of content, and field suggestions from you on what games and entertainment you think we should be covering.

We visited the Royal Armouries!

Eagle-eyed fans might have spotted the EXP team out on location at the Royal Armouries museum in Leeds, which houses a collection of thousands of iconic weapons from throughout history (to give it its full title).

Three Men and A Hall of Steel

While we can’t reveal exactly what we were working on during our time up at the museum, but it has been a great opportunity, and one we’re excited to share with you all!

What’s next?

All of which brings us on to what’s next. In short, a lot. Across the next month, you can expect your usual schedule of Firearms Expert Reacts, starting with a look at the guns of the Mafia Trilogy this Friday the 20th June.

Beyond that, there will be another episode with everyone’s favourite Medieval historian/Armour Expert/Thousand Sons sympathiser, focusing on the ridiculous armour of Monster Hunter Wilds. 

On top of that, we’re still gearing up to work with the Tank Museum and their resident Tank Man, Paul Famojuro in the not too distant future. 

All in all - there is a lot happening, and a lot to look forward to.
