It's Friday, and yeah, we're thinking that we're back. Also, your latest episode of Expert Reacts on EXP is here!

This week we're taking a look at the iconic action movie, John Wick - a film that Jonathan and the EXP team is particularly fond of. Dave and Jonathan dive into the arsenal of the first film in the Wick franchise, breaking down everything from John's classic Wick Flick technique to Willem Dafoe's sniper rifle.

Don't forget, as an Extended Episode patron you get an extra long episode with a bunch of extra content, a week earlier than the main feed, and it's ad-free. Blimey!

Jonathan Ferguson, an expert in firearms history and the Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum in the UK, reacts to some of the guns from modern action classic John Wick, including his iconic H&K P30L, the KelTec KSG and a break-apart Remington Model 700.

They actually used live ammo when filming John Wick. But they kept running out of extras. lol jk. I would love to see more reactions to action movies (new and old).

I'd love to see your take on Heat (and Collateral, and other MIchael Mann films).

Great highlights on the weapon casting I enjoyed this episode. Doing a classics movie episode with like matrix, Terminator, etc... could be fun. As for games I'm dying to see you guys do more fallout 4 mod guns they even have an actual great mp5 mod on consoles now too and showing modders especially ones who go very detailed on gun models is always a nice thing to me. Other personal request I guess would be more armored core 6 specifically showing Jonathan how the recoil changes based on what legs or tracks you're using. That's all and thanks for the awesome content guys.

Lovely episode. Not only interesting commentary on weapon casting, but also pointing out movie details I never noticed.

You will have to, at some point, for some reason, do the gun shopping scene from JW2. You might even make an entire episode about it with Jonathan commenting on the choices and alternatives on display.

I remember this being the first time I'd seen the KSG shotgun. I thought it looked oddly bulky for an assassin's weapon at the time, but between the capacity and interesting profile, I think it was a great choice looking back. Really loving the movie reviews by the way. Firearms Expert Reacts to Bourne when?

William

Such a great movie! I think the only other show/movie that does the whole centre axis re-lock well is Strike Back, especially the later seasons with Sullivan Stapleton and Phillip Winchester. Some great guns on that show too (including some that are not quite what they seem!).
