if you listen to old las cultch, they had an ep a long time ago where they made jokes about hailee being right wing and voting for trump. they had no idea it was def just a vibe based judgement, but they came back a few eps later and were like Actually we’re sorry about that we heard it on good authority that she does not feel that way and someone wanted us to set the record straight. i’ve always thought that was interesting especially since it was before they (las cultch) were really big but i assume someone close to her was a listener and she either heard about it or a friend/publicist was like absolutely the fuck not.

Regardless, I think she did something to him she felt bad about, hence “back to December.” Unless that song is about Julianne.
