And they’re what I refer to as “Heights Liberals” which is a very specific type of liberal here. Excited for a sexy dream album. This is her rom com album. I agree with the colors.

2025-04-29 12:56:07 +0000 UTCI do agree with Cara that midnights and TTPD Taylor seemed to want to still “compete” with Olivia and Sabrina and the younger pop girlies. But what she really needs to get back to is competing with herself. Folklore and evermore, in my opinion, were made to compete with herself after Lover wasn’t taken as positively, especially after having “Me” be the lead single lol. I kind of feel like Red TV was her again competing with herself to show that the Red album was underrated when it originally came out. Red TV was, in my opinion, a whole era. The other re-releases didn’t get that treatment. And Red TV was amazing. So I think she needs to get back to challenging herself and stop trying to compete with the Olivia’s and the Sabrina’s. I think it’s normal for Taylor and honestly a lot of women to compare themselves to younger women, I definitely have and it sucks, so I would like a song where she really admits this feeling cause I feel like it’s obvious but she won’t admit it. We got “nothing new” and that song is amazing. I would love another song like that. I still love midnights and TTPD but more in that there are certain songs I absolutely adore but not as albums as a whole I won’t listen to them all the way through. I’m so excited for what’s to come from her though! I’m glad she’s taking a break but I do miss the content from her haha! Hopefully she is having a good break!!
