2025-04-17 10:50:55 +0000 UTCyeah i agree. i do think it's possible she didn't get into it just because that's how much she cared for him but i will be listening to future albums to see if she mentions it at all. if it never seems to joe up in a song that's related to joe i will probably conclude it was inaccurate.

2025-04-16 15:47:19 +0000 UTCi do think that if the joe tea about him having a dodgy relationship with substances was true taylor would have mentioned it in the music, she really held no punches in ttpd when it came to joe and wasn't even remotely discreet!!! perhaps some of the songs we claim for matty on tortured poets are actually about joe ('you needed me but you needed drugs more,' 'you tried to buy some pills from some friends of friends of mine') but i just don't see it honestly tbh
