2025-04-10 13:38:03 +0000 UTCI also think this song could have absolutely been writing for Matty as she was trying to convince herself to be justified in leaving such a long relationship - but I think that was just the initial melody and lyrics, and it could have easily been tucked away and it finished - and long after Matty, when she was with Travis she dusted off the melody and changed it/ added all the football references because the alchemy idea was much clearer to her now, that she was meant to be with Travis the whole time.
