This is EXP!

Dave, Chris and Adam here, welcome to the EXP Patreon! 

EXP has been something we've been excitedly working on for a couple of months now, and we are so happy to finally share it with you.

To give you a little background, the three of us have worked together on hundreds of videos, namely GameSpot’s Loadout and Expert Reacts series. People often made comments about us doing something similar on Patreon, and since all three of us were made redundant back at the end of 2024, we thought “hey, maybe those folks were onto something…”

So EXP was born. This project has been a few months in the making as we’ve ironed out a few details and spun production back up, but the whole team here is super excited to share what we’ve been working on.

To those of you who have subscribed to us here on Patreon, thank you! This project simply wouldn’t be possible without your support, so we want you to know how much the entire EXP team appreciates your contribution.

By supporting you ensure we are able to continue working with world renowned experts, get access to some of the coolest objects and locations possible, and keep on making the content that you love watching, and we love making.

But what are you getting for your hard earned money? 

Well to kick us off, we will once again be working with Jonathan Ferguson (the Keeper of Firearms and Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum in the UK, which houses a collection of thousands of iconic weapons from throughout history), to bring you a weekly episode of Firearms Expert Reacts. 

Firstly, all of the videos here on Patreon will be ad-free. If you’re subscribed to the Early Access tier, you’ll be getting each episode one week early, and Extended Episode supporters will get a “Directors Cut” edition of every single episode, featuring deeper breakdowns, discussions, and exclusive guns and objects. 

While video games will remain our primary focus, EXP allows us to cover movies, TV shows, even comic books and tabletop miniatures (because of course Dave will find any excuse to talk even more about Warhammer).

Be sure to check out our membership page for a full breakdown of all the tiers, but there are plenty of other perks such as our Patreon-exclusive companion podcast Respec, community events, and much more.

But really, we want to make the best possible content we can. We’re turning up the dial on everything, whether that be production value, depth of discussion, or community involvement, we want to be better than ever. 

And this is just the beginning, with the support of our community the sky is the limit! We’ve already reached out to folks like Toby Capwell and David Rawlings, we’ve got a bunch of ideas for long-form pop-culture documentaries, we’ve even discussed live events and merchandise… Maybe we’re getting ahead of ourselves…

But the more we grow, the more cool stuff we can do!

For now though, that’s our plan. There’s no telling where this venture will take us, but we’re so glad to have you join us on this journey.
