2025-03-18 20:34:53 +0000 UTCSo, (bear with me) but like you said about taylor, (re her being bullied being hard to believe), I’m also blonde, thin, conventionally attractive and successful today. I am neurodivergent (adhd- I know there’s speculation about Taylor around this too) and was bullied in jr high beyond belief. Super cruel, including big ugly pranks. It actually continued into HS. I was super sensitive, poss try hard, and people pleasing. I grew out of it / gained some confidence in activities outside of school, and learned better social skills over time as did Taylor but I totally relate. I think it’s also why she was smitten by Matty. He’s the kind of nonchalant cool kid she always wanted to be accepted by.
