Thanksgiving Mega YCH: G-Drive Uploads

And I'm back... October was a long and arduous month. Convention prep, Enamel Pins, work, conventions, Halloween, and getting sick. See bottom for YCH details.*

Convention & Prep

     ASE took a lot of prep, it was my first time vending fully under the new dealer name and all that merch. Usually I had a small display with just stickers and prints, but the whole pin thing and figuring out something unique for me really took a bit. ASE also ended up being a bit of a shit-show sadly. While I had a good time making new friends, the con was pretty unorganized and paying larger than average amounts for a table half the average table size at other cons. All that prep into my display basically went down the trash last minute to a half display. Most of the dealers didn't even break even, I scraped by only because I was staying with friends.

    The convention also overbooked dealers by probably about double based on the amount of attendees, and were double dipping not giving refunds to dealer that had backed out months in advance (like most cons) and then charging new dealers who took the spot. With 0 compensation. It was only their second year, and it was less put together than many first year cons. I don't trust them to have their act together by next year sadly based on how much of the con when.

Upcoming Conventions

I got into FWA 2020, and I also applied for Anthrocon next year. WE shall see how that goes. I am working on my upcoming fire pin set slowly, and plan to launch around the start of the new year.

Enamel Pins

     All of you who ordered pins should have received them by now. If you ordered stuff and didn't get it, please let me know. As a bonus, I will be posting up soon a Christmas Ornament I'm making for you guys and my family. Just getting the final quote. It will be included in the loot pack for all those tier Patreons, and if you just pay $6 plus shipping (iIthink, depends on final quote from manufacturer since it is a big thing, which is basically what I project the cost of the ornament to be, with cents rounded up for 'profit')

     I wanted to know also, how many of you would be interested in a 'pin of the month' reward tier. Separate from my loot pack, where we vote on some deisgns, and I get them made promptly. Turn around would be about a month, and I'd sell off all the rest of the minimum order. I don't have a lot of backers to possibly justify that tier, but before I bothered I want to see how my most devoted followers felt on the idea.

Halloween

     We got rained out, and went to the mall with our child. And the next day we got sick... one day after we had recovered from con crud cold thing... very lame. Feeling better mostly as of today.

G-Drive

I will be uploading the mass of art from the past month into the drive over this weekend. Which will include my new rough pins for your feedback soon. I have a few more to work on for fire, so I'd love any suggestions on animals I haven't done yet. I worked on a few while I was travelling since I didn't have good internet to pull up refs for the finishing off of the Inktober. ><

Work

     I have finally finished my primary commission queue! WOOO! I still have an ongoing set of commissions and some gifts/projects with friends. I do not plan to open for commissions anytime soon until everything in all queues is 100% cleared. All my work time will be dedicated to working on your Patreon cash-outs and some new merch stuff. I plan to do at least 3 new monster hunter stickers this month, so if you have requests, shoot them my way. Many of the cash-outs are NSFW, so the times I need to do clean stuff around my 2 year old will be when I work on these.

Life

     Speaking on this, a lot of life stuff going on. I have mentioned in my Iggi Ink Telegram Channel about some life stuff going on... I have appointments and referrals to get the carpal tunnel stuff looked at, my insomnia, and got Ring Fit to hopefully begin tackling some of my health concerns. So hopefully getting these things addressed will help me with my productivity.

Appointments are starting to be made to also get daycare for my child, so at least one day a week I can hopefully stream soon. Also applying for Preschool (holy cow so fast) for next year too for 3 years old. Things are looking up on getting back into an art schedule.

I will be going right around Thanksgiving for a week to visit my brother in Michigan. So expect a time frame I'm gone for the holiday.
