(ok side note Victoria’s Secret is like the intersection of my 2 biggest hyperfixations (gaylor & 2000s clothing) and I have consumed SO MUCH abt Victoria’s Secret bc I collect it & I’m obsessed w the fashion shows). OK and unfortunately I think it’s super unlikely that lily would have been gifted a ring because she wasn’t made an official angel. Victoria’s Secret is such a brand that categorizes different models & the VS angels have a special place as THE vs angels because their pay is much higher & they have an exclusive deal with the brand. I think it is unlikely that lily was being given this gift that is exclusive to angels because there is such a distinction as an angel (like a cool elite club) and maybe Victoria’s Secret was trying to get her to become an angel and was giving her the ring as a way of trying to convince her.. BUT I also think if that were the case lily would have been an angel because idk why she would turn it down since it would solidify her place as a model & be such a big opportunity for her career. I HATE TO SAY IT but I think it’s much more likely for them to have given karlie the ring because at that point she was straying away from the brand and they were trying to get her back (and maybe the ring was like a “hey remember how awesome it is to be an angel?!!”) since she already had the status distinction as like an ‘upper echelon’ VS angel.

Frederick allegedly cheated on his wife, Mary, and she ran away with the kids to Australia during Christmas and he stayed in Denmark. And all of a sudden the queen abdicated and Mary came back and now they are king and queen so…..there’s some tea there. I think she wanted to make sure she became queen
