TTOS Episode 8 Production Log (1/24/25)

Today, I've got some progress on the Ballahoo and Ballaswein Tramway routes for Episode 8.

Ballahoo started off with a very rough trackplan, which is echoed on the final route, but definitely changed a lot.

For some reason when I first started making Ballahoo, I thought it was directly on the mainline, and made the station three tracks wide- even though that isn't exactly accurate.

A lot of Ballahoo's trackplan was actually shown being created during the 2025 channel update video! The video ended with this much progress done

As I continued working on the route, I swapped the lighting over and began working more on the terrain surrounding the station, as well as adding more textures to the general area.

More town development, as well as the infamous "Ballahoo Manor" (not haunted in TTOS. Just thought it'd be funny)

The final bit of progress I have is a major portion of the West side of the baseboard being complete. Hopefully I should have the rest of the map completed next time around :)

After this much of the Ballahoo was completed, I wanted to hop from working on this route to instead work on the Ballaswein Tramway, where Toby will be found in Episode 8. I used the small diorama used at the end of the Christmas Special for the shed near the station, adding a few sidings to service smaller industries in the town.

That pretty much wraps up a lot of the progress made for the past week. Hopefully, if all the routes are done by the end of this month, I might just release them for folks to have fun with :)
