Super Secret Project BTS Log 3/2/2022

No, TTOS isn't dead. I'm actually waiting for the last batch of voice lines before I start filming and editing! However, I'm working on another project in the meantime...
See, When the Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness trailer came out.. I had a crazy idea. What if I put THOMAS through the Multiverse? Obviously this is.. incredibly difficult. Let alone, how would it even work? So.. I devised a plan... a plan to make an action movie trailer.. for a movie that will NEVER come out, and release it as an April Fools video!
...I realize now that this sounds incredibly stupid. BUT I PROMISE. It's sick. A lot of the shots have already been edited, but there's still a LOT more I have to do. I've been wracking my brain day and night to come up with universe ideas. Above are a handful of the completed shots! (See Pictures 1 - 6)
This has been such a fun project to work on, and the amount of editing that I've been doing for it is insane! For example, just on the Half Life 2 shot alone (See Picture 3), a ton of green screening had to be done.
The base shot is a rendered Source Filmmaker shot of the canal (See Picture 7). The second shot is of Thomas (See Picture 8), recorded meticulously in Trainz to fit the angle of the canal shot. The third, and final shot, is a masked green screen shot of the fence and canal gates (See Picture 9), that will obscure Thomas as he passes.
I might do a full shot breakdown of all of these in the future, but I'm not sure yet. There's loads of things I'd have to show! The amount of files I've used so far to make this is astounding (See Picture 10)!
