hello TNM, what are yall top 5 games?

Untitled

most underrated series you have read?

GL

hey guys hope your all doing well and here's my question:what makes a good mentor character? and whats the main thing you like about mentor characters?

Taylor Umpherville

Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing great. I was wondering, I think I've seen some musical instruments in some of you guys' background. When can we expect the TNM Team musical collaboration? Also, what anime has your favorite soundtrack?

When you make a long review for a series like Neon Genesis Evagenlion or Attack on Titan you said you like doing a complete review instead of splitting it on Destiny and Dan's podcast (very unexpected collab but a good episode nonetheless). What's your approach to writting the review? Do you write the script as you watch/read and then go back to change things as you learn more about the story? Do you start writting at the end? Or some general ideas as you go which you expand on later? Or a mix of all?

Hello TNM team! I recently went on a trip to the Philippines. While I was there I picked up a Manga "Scariest Tales of Horror" by various authors. Most of the stories were mediocre but there was one I real liked called "Mr. Sekiguchi" by Isao Sakamoto. It was creatively eerie in a way that reminded me a lot of Junji Ito's work. I tried to look up the author but couldn't find much information about him/her. All of their works are published by Shogakukan Asia which only has bookstores in east Asia, nor could I find any online copies of their other works. My question is, how many talented manga artists are out there flying under the radar and is there anything we as manga fans can do to bring attention to their work? Thanks so much!

Hey gang, I got a question for Tyson this time. What's your Twitter? I need to follow you 😍

Sorry to repeat myself, but here goes: Are you planning to cover Aizawa's backstory from volumes 8-9 of vigilantes? Also: when might you plan on continuing the One Piece character anatomy videos?

Andy Toyama

G'day from Brisbane, Australia, Sorry for the long question, I have been a big fan of your work for some time now and was really enjoying your hajime no ippo video and was wondering if you have any interest in covering any more sports related stories, wether anime or otherwise? And a more direct question, that I have is, what is your thoughts regarding viewers perception of character writing trumping everything in storytelling? This is something I noticed you spoke about with yu yu hakusho's dark tournament and I feel is a big reason why I don't particularly love hxh. As hxh and it's fans love to spout how amazing it is by purely looking at its character dynamics and ignoring the other shortcomings of the show. It's world building and nens unnecessary complexity as key examples of its shortcomings I feel. I feel they are holding character writing as more important then the foundational basics of storytelling. Also, given you went through Eva recently, I am contractually obligated to say "congratulations" 👏

Thoughts on the late, great mangaka: Shotaro Ishinomori A name that I think sadly goes unappreciated in the current Anime/Manga community since he has done so much for the landscape of Japanese Pop Culture
