Dragon Ball Daima is NOT Dragon Ball GT

A lot of folks have a lot of thoughts about this series (myself included) and I figured this would be a good way to address some of the more common criticisms I've seen online concerning this brand new series on the horizon.

I think this video convinced me that there's a lot more potential in this that I originally thought. Overall, I'm just glad to get more dragon ball content. I like DBM and that badass fan episode. And I've been enjoying the manga arcs. And this will be different AND with Toriyama's direct input.

2023-10-29 02:57:27 +0000 UTCI'd like to give Daima the benefit of the doubt, but I can't think of a single time in any form of media where I've liked a "the characters turn into children" story. If Daima does turn out to have some quality, it'll likely be in spite of the gimmick, not as a result of it.
