Even if you don't make review videos I think the series would up your alley to enjoy anyway; since the movie and the material its based on is a prototype/ prequel to the main series and the concepts are a lot more refined and the story does use familiar Shonen tropes it plays around with them enough to make it stand out enough to be an enjoyable experience. But if you do end up wanting to make review vids about this series I would wait until after the second season airs. Not because the first season isn't interesting but because while it introduces fun characters, has great and creative action and is an enjoyable experience; a lot of it is setup that will come to a head in the material that will be covered in the second season.

2023-03-04 23:12:42 +0000 UTCAs someone who discovered the Jujutsu Kaisen manga at the beginning of 2020 and then proceeded absorb as much of the series as I could and has even seen this movie several times and loves it, I agree with what you say about the movie. But I will also say that while the movie as a whole wasn't a knock out the park for you I would recommend the main series as well since you did seem intrigued by some of the characters and the world.
