This would be my thinking. If we want to blame everything that happened on only the wish, then we'd also need a reason why the wish didn't apply to Raditz. Because he definitely didn't do anything special nor seemed to thrive or be all that strong.

2022-05-21 11:28:27 +0000 UTCIt will be interesting to see where it is taken from here. I am not sure how to take it as Raditz was killed, yet the same wish applied to him. Raditz didnt thrive, he got given a hole in the chest!

2022-05-21 11:08:38 +0000 UTCFeel like a better wish would of been if bardock wished that he would be able to see kakarot grow up big and strong . Then at the moment of Bardocks death he sees visions of the future of his son defeating freeza ( just like in the Original special )
