Personally I wasn't a fan of the animation shift come the climax but I still thoroughly enjoyed the scene. My only issue was with how absurdly durable the final Pain was while at the same time not. Getting pulverized with massive slabs of stone, having his head lodged into a cliff side with rubble falling on his dangling corpse, and the as Mark put it "loony toon" style of violence being Pain getting hammered into the earth like hammer to nail felt like overkill yet having NO EFFECT. Look I get the Rasengan is good but if all the previous attacks did absolutely nothing then I find it hard to believe a base Rasengan would be enough to finish off the final Pain.
