What about a scenario of an ex who cannot let go and is fighting for what she believes to be true love? The ex (your character) was completely head over heels when their relationship suddenly ended in a non-mutal way. The reasoning could be anything, maybe the other person couldn't get out of their head and it made them feel like things needed to end. Anything. Time has passed, a year or more, and the ex and the former lover fall back in each other's path one day. The ex admits that they have never gotten over them and after everyone they've seen since, she truly believes they are one another's soulmates. There is some resistance from the other person but the ex tries to beg and convince them that they were meant for each other in so many ways and them breaking up was not supposed to happen (Not in a yandere way, I must clarify, but in a open your eyes kind of way). This gives you room to make it as angsty and emotional/dramatic as you please! Idk why I took this so seriously like this was a job interview question lmao but I figured to come up with something slightly different than what's been suggested/ what you've done! Just something to think about!
