One of the weaker and more pointless episodes of season 6 I feel. The Sopranos will always be able to create tension when they want to and obviously it was tense on that boat. But other than that, what was the point of that whole Paulie subplot? If it's just meant to show Tony's growing paranoia, I think that could have been woven in better into a more interesting and relevant subplot than just them going to Florida under an out-of-the-blue pretext and then reminiscing and shooting the shit with Beansie. Also the whole Junior plotline, I don't know if we needed that much of him in one episode. I get it, the whole point is that his whole life is sad and miserable now, but we already knew that right? And this random young guy friend character, what was that about? What was the point of him? Just weird. I don't like to throw the word filler around, I think people overuse it, and fail to appreciate good episodes even when they don't move the plot forward much, but I feel this one qualifies because it neither moved the plot nor really told us anything new or interesting about the characters.
