I had fun watching this with your watch along. I forgot about your knowledge of aw which is always fun to hear your view like in Better Call Saul. At the beginning of the movie, Mark says to Erica that she will go to big events and meet people she won't have met without him yet at the end of the film, in her profile picture, it looks like she's at a big event and meeting new people. Without him lol. Erica Albright is a fictional character for the movie.
According to a hour long documentary I saw on tv, Zuckerberg was actually popular around campus. Likeable, but I guess the script writer felt it was a better storytelling to make him unlikeable. One thing that wasn't in the movie that happened in real life was Yahoo wanted to buy Facebook for a billion dollars. All of Mark's friends were all excited but Mark turned down Yahoo's offer. Which was a smart choice because Yahoo started struggling and the deal fell apart. I feel the movie was more about Zuckerberg being portrayed as this asshole rather than the movie actually about Facebook.
According to the documentary, The Winklevoss twins came to Mark with their idea of a I don't remember if it was a Harvard social website or dating site, and Mark turned down their offer, but decide to make his own idea of a social network. Also his real reason for screwing over his friend Eduardo is because Eduardo froze the account. Also Eduardo feeding a chicken chicken didn't happen.
