Rogue Nation and the next MI movie Fallout are hands down the best in the series. Rogue Nation also has my favorite action sequence: the Casablanca car/motorcycle chase. The last 4 MI movies are written and directed by the masterful Christopher McQuarrie who also made the first Jack Reacher film with Tom Cruise.
